• provide technical assistance and recommendations pertaining to the Civil/ Structural concerns and recognize the actions need to be taken in support of the Directions and Priorities as assigned to TST (Technical Support Team) from the MOI Agency
• review and study the technical submittal from PMO (Project Management Office) / Contractors for the current and new projects
• originate the Minimum Technical Requirements and Structural narrative of the project include the applicable design codes, loads, design strength of materials used and other design criteria
• create a Conceptual Structural Design in accordance with the conceptual Arch, the project specifications, international codes & standards in order to classify and categorize the civil items.
• prepare the appropriate project technical specifications for the division of works corresponding to the civil and structural items and adjusting in accordance with the technical requirements
• work closely with TST management and all disciplines to ensure that the implemented works and deliverables are in compliance with the provided documents and meet the Client requirements.

• provide commercial studies such as cost analysis, and project cost estimation for the tendered project
• study and evaluation of tenders and technical offers including the financial and technical evaluation for competitors
• reply to the queries raised by the bidders upon the tender stage
• review and validate the technical documents for releasing after checking the contents, verify compatibility, and modify if necessary (for drawings, technical specs, BOQ)
• prepare the scope of design works before it starts, quantity surveying and cost estimation
• technical responsibility for civil & structural engineering matters, coordination and support in project execution and proposal preparation
• collaboration in interdisciplinary teams and with engineering offices, partners, contractors, suppliers and customers
• basic/detail engineering (e.g. structural design, authority engineering and detail engineering)
• conducted required studies that concerning with design and drawing
• schedule and cost control, calculation of quantities and costs
• bid evaluation and negotiation with contractors and suppliers for construction services
• followed up the contractor’s payments.
• responsibility for the realization of civil works and both fabrication and erection of structural steel in accordance with drawings and project specification
• monitors day-to-day work by subcontractors to ensure compliance with time schedule and other project requirements
• responsibility for managing interface activities in a project, between the parties participating in it
• planning, scheduling, setting objectives and controlling activities during the construction phase of a project(s) in conjunction with the Project Superintendent
• checked the construction materials quality.
