At REED Technology, I am a headhunter, predominantly working with the exclusive client HSBC and delivering the high caliber and niche candidates within tight deadlines.
What do I do on daily basis?
• Headhunt candidates using a variety set of tools such as job boards (Reed, CW Jobs, JobSite, and JobServe), professional social media (LinkedIn) and the references.
• End-to-end candidate management i.e. from initial cold call to receiving the signed contract.
• Conducting in-depth and strict compliance checks for every offered candidate.
• Solid, well-mannered and professional relationship management i.e. providing the best customer service to the candidates, thus promoting Reed and self-brand.
• Stakeholder management - ensure that they are aware of the status of live vacancies, candidate management and the compliance checks as there is an agreed SLA.
• From time to time work along with my colleagues on other accounts such as CAPITA, MET Police, BBC, Crossrail, FOS, Shell, SCOPE and other clientele.
• Level and the seniority of roles vary from very junior 1st line support (£10 per hour) to FinTech Programme Managers (£1,000 per day).
Achievements:
• 1st offer within 2 weeks of joining Reed.
• Winning a competition between 3 x Reed Technology branches - weekend break in Paris
• Regularly exceeding set targets of CVs sent, interviews and offers.
• A 'go to' consultant, for managing the FOS account.
• Built solid trust with a best consultant in the office, thus becoming 'The A Team' for HSBC
• LinkedIn network grown to 9.9k

• Made a placement for a QA position in the first two weeks (self-sourced).
• Overall, made 19 placements (14 Software Engineering, three Operational positions and two business positions).
• Expanded own network of software engineers by a thousand on LinkedIn and this is still passively growing.
