British Sky Broadcasting Group plc is a British satellite broadcasting, broadband and telephony services company headquartered in London, United Kingdom, with operations in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

My primary responsibilities are mainly security projects for the UK largest hotspot provider owned by BSKYB - The Cloud:
- ASA 5510, 5540 deployments as firewalls and VPN concentrators
- Content Filtering deployment - Bluecoat/Sonicwall
- Deep Packet Inspection Technologies and reporting
- Load balancing - Brocade

I'm also reponsible for 3rd line support and upgrades of The Cloud's Broadband network dealing with the following technologies:
- L2TP, PPP, NAT,BGP, OSPF, RADIUS

GlobeCast, a subsidiary of France Telecom, is the leading global provider of content management and worldwide transmission services for professional broadcast delivery.

•Managed a Core IP Network used for multicast TV transmission – routing protocols used – EIGRP, BGP and PIM
•Deployed and optimized a Global WAN network used for VoIP and Business Critical traffic with full QoS setup
•Designed and configured a mobile TV van IP setup with dual 3G DMVPN connectivity and Wi-Fi that can connect securely back into Central Offices from any location in the world
•Configured multiple site-to-site and client based VPNs terminating on a redundant Central Office ASA 5540.
•Assisted in provisioning a streaming to web solution for Arsenal TV channel
•Acted as consultant for Citrix Accelerator System used by Al-Jazeera network

Urban Wimax Ltd - Medium size ISP providing Wimax Symmetrical WAN connectivity to businesses in London. I joined when there were no customers and was with the company throughout its growth until 500 customers

Responsibilities:
•Managed and optimized routing protocols running on the network - BGP, OSPF, EIGRP
•Deployed multiple core network sites including provisioning of new routers (Cisco 7604) and Multilayer Switches (Cisco 6506, Cisco ME3750)
•Successfully deployed basic MPLS and QoS on the network
•Maintained security of network services (RADIUS, DNS, SMTP) with PIX515 firewalls
•Created and supported multiple client VPNs (IPSEC, GRE, DMVPN)
•Provided- redundancy for clients' networks by advanced multi-ISP configurations on their CPEs (ASA 5505, Cisco 2800, Cisco 1800, Peplink)
•Acted as a consultant and pre-sales support for various custom client deployments
•Delivered 3rd line support for advanced faults
•Provisioned and managed Linux (CentOS 5.2) based environment for network management and monitoring systems (Cacti, SNMPc)
•Assisted with equipment development and testing with various Wireless vendors (Motorola Canopy, Airspan, Alvarion)
