I oversee the service delivered by a Fund Accounting operational team. I am responsible for the scheduling of operational flows. I put necessary controls in place and make sure they are adhered to in order to provide accurate and timely fund accounting/administration services to our clients.

As Assistant Manager I am operationally responsible for Accountants, Senior Accountants and Supervisors in a group. I provide on-going support to the Fund Accounting Manager in co-ordination and review of accounting operations, including all relevant controls of the department . I manage staff, deals with issues as they arise, and I am responsible for the training and development of my team.

I am responsible for ensuring that all daily and ad hoc client requirements are met:
• Ensure the correct calculation of Net Asset Values within the group, and ensure that all reporting and control requirements are met.
• Preparation of semi-annual and annual financial statements within given deadlines.
• Liaise with auditors on annual accounts.
• Review financial statements, expense analysis, budget reviews, monthly client reports, etc., before passing on to the Fund Accounting Manager. Effectively manages any ad hoc projects.
• In addition to accounting responsibilities, I develop a good working relationship within the team, and deal with all staff issues, to include - attendance monitoring, assignment of work tasks and training. I ensure adequate cover at all times.

As a Supervisor, I am responsible for the team timely and accurate completion of all client funds net asset values (NAVs), supervising the quality of their work whilst ensuring all standard procedures and controls are complied with.

Reviewing and coordinating daily accounting activities
in timely and accurate manner by Fund Accountants; verifying and approving tax calculation; taking part in and chairing meetings with other Departments; organizing trainings; leadership internal improvement group; coaching and mentoring less experience members.

Reviewing fund components and verifying completed NAV; ensuring funds are reported accurately and on time to the necessary parties; training less experienced staff; providing guidance and an adequate source of help for questions; assisting Team Supervisor in implementing new procedures and controls; participating in improvement group; specializing in German fund taxation.

Preparing accruals; intercompany reconciliation; booking invoices; contact with customers; document processing and professional training program including: Task Management, Customer Care and Quality Awareness Training.
