• Review, assess, forecast and monitor performance, capacity and resource utilization aspects of infrastructure to ensure there is capacity for service requirements.
• Define the business and technology metrics appropriate and necessary to forecast the resource requirements for customers.
• Build, maintain and control documentation that accurately reflects capacity baselines
• Identify cross platform/application impacts
• Determine most appropriate projection methodology and estimate resources
• Analyse the relationship between IT Infrastructure capacity/demand/configuration and business drivers.
• Develop and maintain Capacity Plans, including workload balancing options, recommended solutions, financial metrics, assumptions and technology refresh plans
• Maximize capacity resource utilization to best meet service levels, achieve cost/profit targets, exploit technology and operate cohesively
• Plan and manage capacity upgrades, downgrades, technology refresh and new technology projects to meet agreed dates and service targets
• Provide technical and business advice to account teams to support effective decision making
• Provide performance and capacity management advice and guidance for IT solutions
• Consult with Solution Designers, System support teams, Database Administrators and Application Teams on system, database and application performance and capacity planning.
• Review performance and capacity aspects of proposed solutions and planned changes
• Assess pre/post production impacts of changes
• Define and establish performance and capacity data collection requirements

Provided services: computer service, computer repairs and consultancy, installation of
computer networks (systems) and monitoring, low-voltage installations, minor
electronic repairs, IT Customer Care, etc.

Main responsibilities: Implementation and management of IBM Lotus Notes and Domino, creating required reporting, internal databases management

• Ensure data is current for purposes of metrics and measurements
• Implementing and executing the processes in compliance with the process standards defined by the process owner and as defined in the Process Interface Documentation
• Performing day-to-day process administration
• Performing process assessments to ensure compliance with the processes
• Review request tickets daily to ensure that they are process compliant and opened correctly. I.e.; assigned to the right groups, include all the right approvers, contain pertinent information, follow-up with assignee/approver to ensure tickets are approved/rejected.
• Assist/respond to issues on problem reporting
• Monitor/escalate outstanding problems to Focal Points in the affected GDC regions
• Ensure reports are being executed effectively
