Responsible for overall cargo operations activity during the shift & to ensure safe work practices are followed.
• Attend daily conference call chaired by Hub Control Duty Manager and represent the cargo department as an Acting duty manager.
• Pass on to Etihad Airport Services Duty Manager and cargo team any instructions received from HCC DM and other stakeholders.
• Update all team members about special cargo on different flights during the day ensuring necessary care and smooth handling.
• Chair the Cargo Conference call on the weekend and update the team on all operations issues.
• Attend daily management meeting and review over all cargo hub performance.
• Closely monitor FAB performance and provide FAB update to the management every 8 hour.
• Provide daily FAB report to the management with FAB failure details.
• Coordinate with EAS Duty Manager and provide feedback about the FAB performance and give suggestions to improve in order achieve daily FAB target.
• Lead and establish best practice to ensure Flights are maximized to their capacity and conduct review of processes and procedures for improvement of service delivery.
• Providing details of shipments that require Special handling to SHS handling team and follow up with them from time to time to ensure connection.
• Provide on job training, coaching to EY new joiners, Dulsco and other EAS staff.
• Assist EY operations Manager with regards to day to day activity and provide investigations reports as asked by them for any mishandled shipments.
• Assist Regional Cargo Handling Performance Managers for their day to day query and provide report of non-compliance of their station which affects Hub FAB performance.
• Provide full support to Revenue management team and Cargo customer Service team for assistance required.
• Maintain contact with Ramp Operation Manager, Duty Manager and Cargo Movement controller Center to ensure high level service provided to EY product like PIL, AVI and XPS.
