Implementation Coordinator coordinates global implementation of Group application services. (Enterprise Content Management)

The primary responsibilities are:
• Search for innovative ways to solve real-world problems utilizing application services in concern
• Lead major implementation projects and service roll-outs.
• Support business users to increase usage of application within their business units
• Take a lead on activities from sell-in and initializing to implementation, which comprises planning and the overall co-ordination of all implementation activities, supporting the local implementation teams with project management expertise, business process understanding, IT expertise and issue resolution
• Capture, define and document new business requirements and match the application services with the business needs and processes
• Provide initial training to super users in the field
• Plan and support system integrations, coordination with technical integration experts and software developers

Job Description:

Working as a team member to implement and support STARLIMS and other laboratory applications requested by customers. Under minimal supervision, analyzing problems in terms of systems and programming requirements, as well as policy/procedure and training requirements. Determining system specifications and record layouts and developing procedures to process information by means of information technologies. Advising users and committees on information systems issues.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Performs analysis, design, development and maintenance of LIMS class system.
• Provides system implementation and on-site user support during implementations.
• Configures vendor applications and products (i.e. SDMS (Scientific Data Management System)).
• Maintains system documentation and develops system specifications and procedures.
• Applies project planning and project management methodologies
• Takes on-call for system application support at scheduled times.
• Troubleshoots and tracks issues and problems.
• Performs system testing; develop test plans. Prepares test data.
• Audits data entered by lab analysts.
• Facilitates development of policies and procedures.
• Handles multiple projects and assignments simultaneously.
• Learns and understands user department practices and procedures
• Defines and documents customer requirements.
• Applies systems development methodology to solve problems.

• Work with other team members to propose, specify and implement projects, as specified by the Group and Systems Project Manager,
• Ensure that designated areas of responsibility within Systems Projects are completed on time, and to the specification agreed with the business in the Project Charter, or as defined in the provided specification,
• Ensure that items not conforming to the specification, and resulting from the implementation of Systems Projects, are closed in a timescale defined with, and to the satisfaction of the business,
• Installation of new Systems software to follow the requirements of the business, as defined in the provided specification,
• To take responsibility for the development and support of the IT systems in place at specific sites, as directed by the Systems Projects Manager,
• Assess the suitability, applicability and potential of new and existing Albat+Wirsam software for the BPE downstream business, to improve both productivity and profitability within the operations environment,
• Communicate and advise BPE downstream site and country management on topics involving Albat+Wirsam Operations software, and provide training in same as required, to ensure management teams are kept informed on new developments, issues and concerns.

• Responsible for analysis, development, and coordination of manufacturing process parameters,
• Conferring with production planning and product design staff, concerning product design, tooling and workforce training,
• Design and evaluate new existing lay-out, product flow, fixtures and equipment, test methods, and standards supporting a LEAN manufacturing environment,
• Identify production constraints and bottlenecks; recommend methods to eliminate,
• Utilize SPC and other tools to refine methods, improve quality, and increase through-put,
• Identify and recommend manufacturing technologies to strategically develop business objectives,
• To take responsibility for interact with customers to provide product solutions and provide engineering project management for samples, validation plans and launch support,
• Preparing and improving quality, management and technological documentation,
• Member of European Standardization Team.
