o Troubleshooting basic Network and security faults.
o Basic configuration of routing on different series of router such as Cisco ASR1000, GSR12000 , 7600 and ASR9000.
o Basic configuration of switching on different series of switches such as Cisco 2950, Cisco Catalyst 2960, and L3 switches Cisco 3750.
o Responsible for maintaining and monitoring performance of network
o Provide first-level technical support; assisting users who have network problems
o Perform high level troubleshooting, diagnostics for networking problems
o Support and provide solutions for network failures, making recommendations for possible fixes
o Coordinate with team members to reduce technical complication sand collaborate on projects
• National Knowledge Network (NKN) is a multi-gigabit PAN INDIA network for providing a unified high speed network backbone for all Knowledge and Research related Institutions in the Country. The purpose of such a knowledge network goes to the very core of the country's quest of Digital India for building quality institutions with requisite research facilities and creating a pool of highly trained professionals.
