Production Control Analyst
- Responsible for production batch applications into the IWS environments through several customers.
- Managing request for service, ad-hoc batch and permanent schedule changes.
- Managing batch schedules, calendars, resources, dependencies and critical path information.
- Managing softcopy request for report creation.
- Managing tool installation requests.
- Perform administrative and maintenance tasks keeping production standards.
- Verifying and updating support documentation and ensuring its availability.
- Performing any pre-processing activities (i.e. Scheduling, Job Setup, App. Lib Mgnt, Element
validation, softcopy, user validation).
- Developing and maintaining standards for job acceptance and implementation.
- Identifying manual procedures performed by the team and deploy automated solutions.
- Sharing best practices with the Service Line

- Performing regular maintenances with IPLs , including during Disaster Recovery, using HMC and
GDPS.
- Monitor IWS batch monitoring.
- Monitor mainframe components and mid-range production systems.
- Provide first level problem determination, escalation and resolution based on approved recovery
procedures.
- Manage incidents including appropriate escalation.
- Manage critical system issued ensuring all SLO/SLA are met.
- Ensure 24x7 support on Incident, Problem, Change and Service Requests using Service Now and
Maximo.
- Manage changes.
- Perform RCA and manage reports.
- Execute daily checklists to ensure proper system functioning.
