Deputy Shift Leader of Mainframe Batch Operations Team and mainframe operator, working mostly on IBM z/os v13 system. During daily work first obligations are as mainframe operator, second is shift leader responsibilities.

Mainframe operator responsibilities:
• Monitoring incoming tickets from several systems using BMC Imapact Explorer. Problem and issues occur on systems such as Windows, Linux, AIX, z/os
• Troubleshooting such as: x37, Outlim, JCLI, OJCV, SQL: 911, SQL: 904 and more.
• Modifying the current plan using TWS, handling jobs on error list, adding applications, creating dependencies, checking worstations and special resources
• Modification of jobs in the JCL code.
• Performing and assistance during IPL
• Analyzing jobs outputs in BETA92
• Contacting (Phone/Email/Cisco Jabber) other teams in order to find the source of the problem and solve it.
• Monitoring drives, ports, check their status and attempt to return them to the desired state.
• Using HMC, ISPF, SDSF, TWS, TSO

Deputy Shift Leader responsibilities:
• Leading together with main shift leader operators team of 5 people
• Training employees from the acquired knowledge on the current position
• Participation in change meetings and daily debriefings
• Contacting managers on level P1 and P2
• Participation in critical meetings
• Writing reports at the end of each shift
