Self develop Luminaire Architecture and manage the process of luminaire architecture development in the pre-MS0 phase and feasibility phase. Safeguard luminaire architecture during industrialization phase. Manage technical side of the project and technical team till end of feasibility phase.
1. Manage pre-MS0 activities as technical leader to define and evaluate the functional requirement specifications.
2. Responsible for the creation of concept scenarios including analysis technical, financial and other pros and cons allowing luminaire architecture choice by stake holders.
3. Within technical team manage development and validate product architectures, modules and components in line with specifications, costs and quality standards. Integrate optical, mechanical, thermal and electronic building blocks.
4. Lead a technical team, plan the team’s activities and ensure progress is in line with the project planning.
5.Facilitate technical quality evaluation of the concept (FMEA, technical risks analysis) and ensure the follow up.
6. Support competition and benchmarking activities by evaluating competitor products and by reviewing technological knowledge generated by i.e. the Innovation Group or suppliers.
7. When needed initiate early suppliers involvement and maintains direct communication in technical matters.
8. Responsible for transfer of product concept to Factory Development team at the site industrializing the product.
9. Support IPM in assuring that product industrialized by FD is in line with agreed specification and concept.
