Range of activity: Process Safety for the units MHC (Mild Hydrocracking) and Hydrocracking. Under Plant Manager authority.
Responsibilities:
 Participation and monitoring of effectiveness of Management of Change (MOC), Preliminary Hazards Analysis (PHA), “What If”, Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP), Process Safety Information (PSI), Pre-startup Safety Review (PSSR);
 Participates in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations for incidents and near misses. Integrates learnings from investigations to improve process safety;
 Preparing different procedures related with checking trips for devices (FSC- Fail Safe Control) and preparing procedures, check lists related with safety working during normal operation and maintenance of the Unit.

Under Shift Supervisor authority and superior for Field Operators.
Responsibilities:
 Controlling and correction of process parameters (feedstock- heavy products from vacuum distillation, pressure of hydrogen on the suction of the reciprocating compressors, temperatures of the catalyst beds in reactors, pressure in the high pressure circuit, lean amine system- absorption of H2S from the circuit gas, temperatures in distillations columns, controlling of the work of furnaces) according to the virtual and real laboratory analysis of feedstock which is given to reactors and products which leave out distillation columns;
 Monitoring (temperature of bearings, vibration and axial displacement- Bently Nevada system, pressure of barrier fluid in the dual seal system etc.) different kind of machinery (Pumps, HPRT- High Pressure Recovery Turbine, Steam Turbine, Reciprocating Compressors, Centrifugal Compressor) and monitoring of auxiliary systems: lube oil system (for pumps, compressors), condensate and vacuum system (for steam turbine);
 Shutdowns and startup Units (Mild Hydrocracking, Hydrocracking);
 Properly reaction according to the small changes in the processes as well as during failures and damages.

Independently from responsibilities connected with position of Control Room Operator, I made revision of manual of the high pressure machinery for the hydrocracking Unit. I added wide range of knowledge in this manual as also I executed tens significant corrections.

Under Plant Manager authority;
 responsibility for the training of the operators who can operate new high pressure machinery (reciprocating and centrifugal compressors, pumps, a recovery turbine, a steam turbine);
 responsibility for the preparation of the manual of the high pressure machinery in Polish language according to the documentations in English;
 completed a course on "Centrifugal Pumps -Maintenance" (Bari, Italy 19-21.04.2010);
 completed a course on "Centrifugal Compressor and Steam Turbine- Maintenance"
(Florence, Italy 12-16.04.2010);
 completed a course on "Reciprocating Compressor-Operation and Maintenance"
(Florence, Italy 06-09.04.2010);
 taking a part in daily meetings (between Grupa Lotos- Technip) connected with progression of works which took place on the new unit MHC.

The similar range of activity as now.
In that time I prepared also a schedule of work and activities connected with preparing hydrocracking unit for maintenance “Spring 2009”.

Under Shift Supervisor and Control Room Operator authority.
Responsibilities:
 Follow up machinery's parameters and process parameters on field (pressure on the suction and discharge of the machinery, temperature, noise of the running machinery, levels in the vessels, manual regulation of the air to the furnaces, pressure of the fuel gas to the burners);
 Preparation machinery to startup (flooding pumps, warming up pumps, operation on lube oil systems, pressurization barrier fluid system in dual seal system, circulating compressor driven by steam turbine- preparation: seal system of the compressor, lube oil system, condensate system, steam to the seals of the steam turbine, ejectors in vacuum system, all operation activities connected with reciprocating compressors);
 Activities connected with startup and shutdown the Hydrocracking Unit.

I was responsible for doing analysis like: chromatography (HPLC, GC), SPE (Solid Phase Extraction), Extraction Liquid-Liquid, spectroscopy (IR, VIS, UV), XRF (X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy), distillation, titration, Karl Fischer titration etc. I measured density, cloud point, cold filter plugging point, ignition temperature for products from the group of diesel and kerosene oils. I carried out also analysis for the asphalts: Ring and Ball Test- Softening Point, Penetration Test, viscosity measurement (Brookfield Viscometers), Asphalt Ductility Test etc.
