Due to their dynamic development and worldwide expansion they are now expanding and consolidating their Purchasing and Supply chain operation. For their new corporate HQ-s located in Stockholm they are now looking for experienced Raw Materials Buyer.

Responsibilities:

Working closely with all internal plants as well as supporting external plants with costing information about some 250 suppliers and 2000 raw materials you will be responsible for ensuring the “best value for money” in the buying of raw materials. Main duties will include:

Sourcing and negotiating costs for all raw materials used in product formulations
Providing site buyers and production sites with information about the current raw material
Monitoring prices and carrying out cost comparisons with the objective of containing and reducing costs
Working with the development chemists to enable them to source innovative ingredients but also ensuring that bulk target costs are met
Developing market intelligence sources for benchmarking costs
Ensuring all databases are kept up to date with current prices
Participate in all raw material related special projects
Other duties as required

Requirements:

Degree level education in relevant area
3-5 years purchasing experience preferably with chemicals for health-care or food
Experience in a dynamic environments (FMCG, cosmetics or likes)
Confident, good negotiation, presentation and leadership skills, able to think both strategically as well as do the details
Fluent English, other languages are additional asset
