We"re seeking a Python/ Databricks Engineer to join the team working on a project for a major financial institution in the Dutch market.

Project scope:

Development of software and business processes based on Python/Databricks technologies at a major financial institution in the Dutch market
Work in the DevOps block (Scrum Team) on developing and maintaining good quality and future proof IT solutions
Follow clean and secure coding practices
Propose solutions to existing challenges and new requirements
Educating yourself with the right technical capabilities and the latest innovations
Actively participating in knowledge-gaining and sharing by joining communities and events. Furthermore, focus on proper knowledge dissemination across the teams, pushing the limits of our technology and focusing on holistic solutions.
You are open to feedback on your code and open to learn from peers and your Chapter Lead

Competence demands:

Higher education in IT or technical-related or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience in Python
Technical knowledge of Azure Databricks including CI/CD, PySpark, and Integration of Azure Services
Experience with Azure Bicep, Azure ARM, and/ or Terraform (infra as a code)
Basics in Databases and SQL
Understanding of Object Oriented Programming and Design Patterns
Understanding of algorithms and data structures
English: min B2
Nice to have: knowledge of Kubernetes, basic knowledge of Java 11+, Linux shell scripting, PowerShell scripting
