The company BK SEE Poland, international Quick fast food Retail Group, with 20 stores in Poland, seeks to recruit for its offices in Warsaw a Financial Leader.

We are currently seeking an experienced, and thorough financial leader to join our firm. In this role, you will demonstrate your management skills and accounting expertise in a variety of personal and corporate accounting practices, including overseeing taxes. You must be highly accurate and efficient, utilizing your vast knowledge of the current tax code, upholding our standard of exceptional customer service, and, above all else, ensuring that consistent and accurate accounting services. The suitable candidate should have a passion for accounting and experience in this field.

Main Responsibilities

Responsible for day to day accounts operations and monthly reporting according to local and group requirements together with tax regulations and yearly Financial Statements.

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for day to day finance and accounts operations
Perform full set of accounts and ensure timely closing of accounts
Responsible for timely monthly financial statements, payments, cash-flow
Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies for the set-up
Preparation of Yearly Financial Statement for local and group purposes
Work consultatively with the respective departments on cost reduction initiatives
Ensures adherence to company’s policies and procedures and coordination in audit procedures
Proactively performs preventive quality controls and initiates corrective actions when necessary
Produces accounting reports and monthly/quarterly/yearly statistics
Cooperates with tax authorities in case of tax reviews
Ensure that all necessary documents are requested, collected, and compiled
Advise business owners and individuals regarding the tax code
Detect and address potential compliance issues proactively
Maintain compliance with all regulations at all times
Work collaboratively with other teams to achieve shared goals

Main Qualifications

University or Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance
A post graduate degree in a related field is considered an asset
3 - 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, preferably in a multinational company
Good knowledge of Polish and English language;
Good knowledge of ERP accounting packages,
Very good knowledge of MS Office applications and especially Excel
Expertise working financial statements
