The Data Platforms Group at Intel is at the heart <3 of our transformation from a PC company to a company which powers the cloud and billions of smart, connected computing devices.

Data center technologies created in Intel's R&D Center in Gdańsk, Poland are being applied in wide range of products that are used in virtually every computing center that exists in the world, as well as integrated into products and services offered by Intel’s direct customers.

Building Cloud Native applications, applications that can be deployed anywhere from the Edge to the Cloud, is a significant industry trend with projected 11X growth in deployments by 2023.

Be part of the global Intel team that optimizes end to end Cloud Native software infrastructure that runs in private and public cloud for Cloud, Enterprise, Edge and Telco use cases. Optimize and enhance existing open source software, e.g. Kubernetes and Envoy in CNCF, and create new ones as needs be.

The successful candidate will work on researching and analyzing new technologies from Cloud Orchestration, Service Mesh, Networking, Language Run Times to Benchmarking and Optimization, Data Services engaging with major customers to understand their priorities and use cases, providing input to technical direction, building and implementing prototypes to production software to deliver best-in-class Cloud Native Infrastructure and solutions for Intel Architecture (IA) processors. The successful candidate will enjoy problem solving, prototyping, designing, and implementing solutions.

• Experience with build management tools such as GitHub Actions(advanced knowledge), Jenkins, etc.
• Experience with K8s or other container orchestration systems
• Experience with cloud native benchmarking
• Experience with Docker, Ansible
• Knowledge of one or more scripting languages, Python preferred
• Familiarity with modern CI/CD system and best practices
• Advanced script parametrization
• Knowledge of operation systems: Ubuntu, Centos, kernel configuration and compilation, advanced knowledge of Linux
• Experience with Mass, Terraform - experience with cluster management
• Good understanding of HW and HW configuration
• Experience with Golang, yaml
  

Nice to have:
Experience with bios configuration
Knowledge of open-source license
