Global IS Service Centre Manager
IS Service Centre Manager (Poland), reporting to the Global IS Service Centre organisation. This is a permanent position within IS Group Services.
The purpose of the role is to manage both the Global and Regional IS Service Centre services and resources based in Poland, offering consistently high levels of service to both local and global users of IS Group Services Service Centres.
The main areas of accountability are:
- To manage the Global IS Service Centre resources based in Sandomierz to deliver a consistently high quality service to the global activities now managed through Poland
- To design, plan and deliver extensions to services provided from Poland to global users
- To support the migration of standardised work from Poland to other Service Centres (eg China)
- To manage the 24 / 7 Business Critical Service Centre capability based in Poland
- To manage the Regional IS Service Centre based in Sandomierz providing first line services to users in Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Russia and Poland
Job holder must be educated to degree standard or equivalent, with experience of the management of a modern IT infrastructure, and a working knowledge of the English language.
Job holder must be able to demonstrate leadership skills, a results oriented and analytical approach, with attention to detail and the ability to manage people to meet challenging targets.

IS Infrastructure Project Manager
To manage all aspects of large Infrastructure development projects, for the benefit of the business lines of NSG, as directed by a Global Infrastructure Director.
To ensure all such projects are delivered to business expectations and in line with time and cost budgets and the Infrastructure strategy, policies and guidelines.
The Job Holder is personally responsible for the delivery of the Project objectives for Infrastructure Projects, directed by a Global Infrastructure Director, ensuring project timescale, budget and quality requirements are met to the full satisfaction of the Business/ISGS receiving the system.
The job holder is accountable, for the projects under his control, the complete project organisation, co-ordination, planning and methodology to ensure successful delivery of the assigned projects.
The job holder must ensure that the projects under his control are delivered maintaining the core solution of the Infrastructure strategy and any changes to the solution are agreed through due process whilst maintaining an effective and trusting working relationship with ISGS and the target business.
Manages the development of the Infrastructure team members directly under his control ensuring they possess the necessary business, technical and personal skills to meet the needs of the Infrastructure projects within NSG.
In co-ordination with the Infrastructure Directors and Group Application Directors, contributes to determining the capital budget / requisitions to support Infrastructure Projects.

- To develop and deploy standard information technology in line with Group policy
- Implementation and development of IS strategy and work plan in accordance with the business strategy

- Overall project coordination of all applications and IT infrastructure projects in Finland

The purpose of the role is to support, administer and maintain business I.T. systems for Pilkington and provide Service Support in line with business requirements.
The key responsibilities of the job holder are:-
• To ensure maximum availability of servers, utilising monitoring, distribution and control mechanisms from the Centre.
• Provide 2nd level technical support to the IT Service Centres, Resource Groups and the user population where problems are of a more technical nature, implementing solutions from IT manufacturers and suppliers, and ensuring that current Service Level Agreements are met.
• Facilitate the continual consolidation of systems and data where right to do so.
• Provide efficient utilisation of Systems Management within the IS regions.
• In conjunction with the IT Service Centres, ensure that service quality and performance is achieved so that relevant actions can be undertaken to maintain and improve the quality of service.
• Liaise with external providers for service, support and maintenance.
Applicant has exposure in some of the following technologies are effective in the role:-
