Network Implementation Manager
Responsible for:
• Network Transport which includes direct Customer / Depot trailer services for 15
depots, Scottish LWB fleet, air and ferry services
• Approx. £65 million Transport budget spend per annum.
• Providing costing and collection solutions for new and existing customers.
• Designing solution for customers/ network making effective use of transport
resource
• Interface with Sales & Depots to provide dynamic network linehaul solutions to
meet ever changing Customer/ Depot requirements
• Coordinating special / major postings introducing extra linehaul to meet customer
requirements
• Agree and implement: Easter, Bank Holiday linehaul arrangements, Autumn
Pressure linehaul requirement, Christmas/New Year period linehaul arrangements
• Planning, designing and introducing complete road network plan for seasonal sortation
Hub.
• Introducing linehaul contingency arrangements at short notice (adverse weather,
national emergency)
• Regular interface with Royal Mail Contract Management Team to ensure linehaul changes are introduced to time.

• Reconciliation, analysis and cost authorisation of all IB network charges
• Invoice / Billing Management for all external suppliers
• Provision of monthly P&L charges for direct customer collections
• Maintain an accurate and detailed PFW Linehaul specification, ensuring all requested trunking services are provided in the most cost effective way
• Design and production of network capacity analysis
• Documentation checks and 3rd party suppliers security audits.

• Managing Employees Contractual Change Requests for Both Hubs
• Managing annual leave requests whilst maintaining Business unit cost and operational requirements.

• Managing Employees Change Requests for Both Parcelforce Hubs.
• Managing and updating Man Power Plan to meet operational forecasts (annual leave requests) for all employees
• Monitoring and managing casual staff for both hubs (including break times, staffing level, permits to work and Employee Change Requests)
• Selecting staff for Sunday, Bank Holiday and weekday overtimes
• Running aggregate systems for overtimes
