• Designing solution for customers/ network making effective use of transport
resource
• Interface with Sales & Depots to provide dynamic network linehaul solutions to
meet ever changing Customer/ Depot requirements
• Coordinating special / major postings introducing extra linehaul to meet customer
requirements
• Agree and implement: Easter, Bank Holiday linehaul arrangements, Autumn
Pressure linehaul requirement, Christmas/New Year period linehaul arrangements
• Planning, designing and introducing complete road network plan for seasonal sortation
Hub.
• Introducing linehaul contingency arrangements at short notice (adverse weather,
national emergency)
• Regular interface with Royal Mail Contract Management Team to ensure linehaul changes are introduced to time.

• Assisting Hub Shift Managers, Planning Managers and Head of Hub in wide range of tasks
• Support Admin Team in various issues surrounding Annual Leave, Sick Absence and Conduct
• Managing Employees Change Requests for Both Parcelforce Hubs.
• Managing and updating Man Power Plan to meet operational forecasts (annual leave requests) for all employees
• Monitoring and managing casual staff for both hubs (including break times, staffing level, permits to work and Employee Change Requests)
• Selecting staff for Sunday, Bank Holiday and weekday overtimes
• Running aggregate systems for overtimes
• Dealing with staff’s pay queries
• Dealing with agencies “after hours”
• Creating and running performance reports

• Agency bookings and payments
• Payroll (including most pay elements for both Hubs)
• Monitoring staff’s attendance for both Hubs
• Creating and running performance reports (including KPI, missorted parcels, no reads, re-circulation, pre-advice etc.)
• Reporting issues and implement corrective solutions in operation
• Tracking and tracing parcels
• Looking for efficiency improvements within delivery network.
