Group Leader for Marine @ ABB CDC - Line responsibility for Software Development and IT Operational Teams within Marine business unit

Areas of responsibility:
- Productising and constantly developing the Marine's Remote Diagnostics offering and related services
- Coordinating pilot implementations of won solution in close contact with the customer
- Working with R&D units to assess cooperation opportunities
- Setting solution targets, reporting success grade on solution introduction into the market and producing quarterly financial scorecards.

- Responsible for all technical sales documentation (ie. use cases) and providing input for marketing activities
- Participating in workshops and customer meetings as technical support and explaining system benefits
- Supporting sales and execution team, in order to efficiently sell, deliver and service the product/solution

- Mapping and collecting market requirements through direct customer projects and sales teams
- Documenting and prioritising requirements and jointly agree with R&D Product Manager on product strategy development priorities.

- Industry 4.0 and RFID-based Solution Sets with end-to-end responsibility for solution from design to run, as well as via the complete life cycle

- Planning budget, consulting technology roadmap and growth strategy for selected I4.0 solutions

- Single Point of Contact for the solution set within Bosch IT

- Industry 4.0 consultancy to Bosch plants based on available Industry 4.0 solution portfolio

- Worldwide Rollout Coordination (including commercial and capacity planning)

- Creating new business opportunities by aligning existing solutions with customer needs

Remote Diagnostic Services (RDS) is a tried and tested ABB service concept that has been tailored to the marine segment. This standardised diagnostics and maintenance solution is functionally advanced yet secure and simple to implement. By making expert knowledge available in the shortest possible time and drastically reducing the need for costly on-site visits, RDS helps ensure safe and efficient vessel operations and contributes significantly to lower OPEX costs.
Remote Diagnostic System is a vital part of Integrated Operations initiative which integrates things, systems and people and is a base for new era in Marine Service workflow.

- Overall responsibility for RDS within Global Marine Services
- Technical Support
- Data streaming and handling
- Implementation of new functionalities and routines in the department (Integrated Operation)
- Projects with short delivery time
- Global Customers, Cooperation with different Marine Service Centres
- Support for Service Sales for RDS related business

Active role in RDS development:
- Technical requirement specification for development
- Report templates development and maintenance
- Marine specific software development
- Solution ownership, maintenance and upgrade with all new software releases
- Testing system (software and hardware) for new product releases

- Marine "drive train" monitoring solutions

Creation and management of outdoor cinema project Letni Projektor (over 800 viewers on
7 screenings in 2011, over 1800 viewers on 8 screenings in 2012). Responsibilities: obtaining
funds, cooperation with partner institutions, development of the concept and action plan,
coordination of contractors' and volunteers' work. Promotional actions, contact with media,
managing social media.
Project carried on in cooperation with the US Consulate General in Kraków
