- Leading group of 6 people responsible for General Ledger bookings, month end close process, preparing analysis of financial reports, trends, risks and opportunities, budgeting

GL accountant & Team Leader
Latest responsibilities as US RTR Team Leader (VI 2011 - XI 2011):

Leader of Oracle 12 implementation team
My team is responsible for testing and implementing of General Ledger, Fixed Assets and Consolidation processes. I’m managing team of 5 people and the whole transition process - supervising team’s daily activities, preparing targets, delegating and checking completion of all allocated tasks, supporting of process migration and reporting to transition managers in Poland and USA.
GL responsibilities
Input and update changes to Forex rates.
General ledger responsibilities, including fixed assets, for 3 countries:
- Prepare journals as necessary during the month in liaison with country F&A managers
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
- Periods close and Hyperion upload
- Participate in consolidation prosess
- Check and confirm systems available to users e.g. GFS, GTN
- Review requests for accruals against existing policy, generate accrual, liaise with countries, post
- Process resale minus calculations and communicate adjustments required to intercompany team
- Compile periodic reports / management information
- Maintenance of existing policies and procedures to ensure they remain up to date and relevant
- Respond to F&A manager queries
- Monitor checklist and complete
- Provide information to and liaise with outsourcers responsible for financial statements, tax, intrastat and VAT.
Fixed Assets
- Update fixed assets for additions, disposals, transfers from Inventory
- Elimination of Profit In Inventory (PII) on Operating Type Leases (OTLs)
- Prepare and post fixed assets journals
- Reconcile all FA accounts at month end
- Reconciliation of physical assets in liaison with Country F&A manager.
- Maintenance of existing policies and procedures to ensure they remain up to date and relevant
