Product Support Engineer

• Provide engineering support directly to the customer in relation to TechnipFMC equipment.
• Present and discuss proposals to internal and external stakeholders.
• Specify design and provide technical oversight of modifications to existing equipment to meet changing customer requirements.
• Produce engineering documentation and prepare part reports, specifying the necessary technical information for production of a part.
• When required make associated changes to equipment drawings and part reports.
• Lead investigation and disposition of non-conformance reports.
• Verify designs using classical analysis techniques where appropriate.
• Assist in development of more junior members of the department through technical mentoring.

• Provide engineering advice and support in relation to operational activities associated with the refurbishment, maintenance and installation of subsea equipment.
• Lead investigation and disposition of internal and vendor non-conformance reports.
• Identify and implement preventative measures to eliminate recurrence of non-conformances.
• Processing engineering information under the control of the electronic data management system.
• Prepare part reports and verify design using classical analysis techniques (bending, buckling, shear, bearing, and pressure vessel).
• Lead investigation and disposition of internal and vendor non-conformance reports.
• Identify and implement preventative measures to eliminate recurrence of non-conformances.

Senior Design Engineer
• Generate conceptual or customize existing designs from customer or internally generated specifications and prepare design layouts using 2D or 3D drawing packages.
• Verify design using classical analysis techniques (bending, buckling, shear, bearing, and pressure vessel).
• Participate in investigation and disposition of non-conformances. Generate equipment assembly, test, handling, storage, rework, maintenance and commissioning procedures as required.
• Provide necessary support to the various internal departments (manufacturing, planning, commercial, purchasing, assembly etc.).
• Develop junior members through technical coaching and mentoring.
• Verify design using classical analysis techniques (bending, buckling, shear, bearing, and pressure vessel).

• Machine various sizes of ferrous, non-ferrous and non-metallic materials.
• Carry out the movement of, material/equipment within the shop area (gantry crane, forklift).
• Support Production Supervisor in the selection of tooling and manufacturing equipment.
• Proposing and introducing new machining techniques to improve productivity and safety.
• Contribute to in-house training of apprentices. Support other departments as and when required.
• CNC programming with FANUC and HIEDENHAIN machine controls.

• Read and understand drawings, manuals and specifications to establish dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations and set-up requirements.
