I’m working within consultancy company to help company clients develop, complete or re-design their equipment. I’m involved in all whole product life cycle. Also I’m involved in many industries like defense, renewables, food production, medical etc. Depending on each task I’m delivering designs, FEA’s, test reports, manufacturing drawings etc. Due to NDA in place I cannot reveal any details now.

I worked within R&D group on prototype project for medical industry. My target was to design medical equipment to client specification and budget. I was creating concepts, running FEA, researching materials suitability due to the strength, stiffness, and cost. Presenting ideas to external customer. Market research for existing standard solutions to reduce cost of overall system. Discussing designs and quotes with suppliers. Supplying manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks package. Due to NDA in place I cannot reveal any details now.

I was supporting R&D group helping with Test Rig, cable termination and emergency release design, test procedures and design reports for multiple projects. Using Inventor to present the design but also completing general arrangement drawings and detail drawings. Also, within the R&D group I was involved in product qualifications and guarantee repairs.

I was involved in AFE group on firefighting systems. My day to day duties includes ensuring that design is within the requested specification, on time and within the budget. Discussing details with client. Guiding drafter thought the design, ensuring drawings are made to the customer and company specification. Writing factory acceptance test and other supporting test procedures. Ensuring all required project documentation is technically correct. Also supporting Proposal Department to ensure quoted jobs are technically correct.

I worked within R&D group on the prototype UV technology and infrared heat for industrial and analytical processes. Discussing design, creating models, manufacturing drawings and built prototypes. Design includes consideration of high power, water cooled lamps using Inventor software.

I worked within R&D group on prototype project for medical industry. My target was to design smaller, cheaper, and more functional proton beam therapy system. I was creating concepts, running FEA, researching materials suitability due to the strength, stiffness, and cost. Presenting ideas to external customer. Market research for existing standard solutions to reduce cost of overall system. Discussing designs and quotes with suppliers. Supplying manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks package.
System targets achieved:
• 50% smaller volume
• 30% smaller footprint
• 25% lower vault construction cost
System has been announced in October 2018.

Provide mechanical engineering support during the project’s life circle. I’m involved in all stages of designing, manufacturing and delivery to the client. I manage designers and junior engineers to deliver project in accordance to standards, in time and budget. I’m helping with issues from manufacturing Aker’s and vendor plants (often including change management). Also I’m supporting project teams on daily basis.
Main duties:
• Manage projects to ensure the successful completion of engineering projects within timescales and on budget.
• Responsible for the execution of design projects.
• Recommend designs and materials for engineering tasks.
• Produce innovative ideas that advance the market position of Company product line.
• Co-ordinate prototype Lab tests.
• Develop existing product lines.
• Produce theoretical analysis of product design that generally renders testing to be a confirmation of ideas.
• Produce and check all drawing types including design layouts.
• Control the production of manufacture and illustrative drawings.
• Make use of V.A. concepts to reduce product cost without sacrificing technical integrity.
• Prepare test programs, requests and reports.
• Analyze test results and make recommendations.
• Operate lab testing equipment.
• Prepare Technical Units and Manuals for review by supervisor.
• Conduct Design Reviews.
• Order and track prototype parts.
• Analyze Company Performance Reports and responds to Field Enquiries.
• Guide and mentor graduates in their program and duties.
• On occasion, provide product support, manufacturing support and failure analysis.
• Adherence to health and safety rules and regulations.
• General ad-hoc duties and special projects when required

I was responsible for christmas tree design in accordance to client specification, standards and safety regulations. I was supporting manufacturing on day to day basis with manufacturing processes and advice on any issues. Lead SIT (site integrity test) meetings with multiple vendors to ensure all are well aware on their duties, responsibilities and safety during extensive and high pressure testing.

I was responsible for building FX Simulators. To my duties was planning production. By that I understand contact witch our client, ordering parts, looking for new solutions, design new parts if needed, keeping eye on material stock, checking correctness of wiring, testing machines and create Bill of Materials. But also I was preparing quotations for new assemblies and re-quotations existed assemblies.
