I am looking for a full time GIS Developer (OpenLayers, Luciad MAP) for an ATM Client in Brussels.
Main responsibilities:
Design, develop and maintenance of the HMI and Portal applications,
Prototyping of new architecture
Development and maintenance of unit tests for the map components,
On-call support for about 3-4 weeks a year during the application migration,
In order to be successful the candidate must have the following:
Experience in Object Oriented analysis, design and programming,
Extensive Java knowledge,
Experience in design and development of optimised Java code, performance tuning, multithreaded applications and memory management,
Good knowledge and practical experience with OpenLayers and/or LuciadMap,
Experience in application server BEA Weblogic or similar,
Experience with open source tools based on Java, Web 2.0 technologies and IDE like Eclipse,
Experience with code generation,
Experience in the mission critical application development,
Experience in unit testing,
Very good mathematical skills.

I am looking for a Systems Engineer to work on a contract basis for a large European Agency based in Brussels.
Your tasks will include:
To analyse and validate architecture proposals for new installations and upgrades, including impact analysis on existing infrastructure and internal security requirements
To undertake technical projects for the upgrade and rehosting of system utilities in a Solaris 10/Windows Server 2008/Oracle 11g environment
To collaborate in the implementation of new Middleware products, e.g. the installation of Java IDE and associated tools.
Skills required:
Experience in integrated operational environments running on a combination of Unix (Solaris 10) and Windows Servers, including systems utilities such as Oracle DB, NetWorker, Control-M, Rational configuration management.
Hands-on experience of Network services including DNS, WINS and Kerberos.
Experience in administration of integrated development environments and configuration management systems such as Visual Source Safe and Rational Change Management.
Experience of troubleshooting and incident resolution.
Experience in documentation of technical procedures
