To improve and maintain the Quality, Environmental, and H&S systems (QMS) to meet company business requirements.
To develop a culture of quality ownership and improvement throughout the company.
To work towards developing and improving the skills, capabilities and awareness of all staff so that they can fully contribute to meeting the company’s overall quality aims and objectives.
To be responsible for the day to day management of quality issues throughout the business so that problems are resolved promptly, lessons are learned and creative solutions are put in place to prevent future inconsistencies.
To represent the King’s Lynn and Cambridge management team at the PartnerTech Group Quality level.
To conduct and review internal audits, external quality audits on suppliers, and to host inbound audits from customers, prospects and accreditation bodies.
To ensure through regular, structured meetings and reports, that all aspects of QMS are brought to the attention of the senior management team.
Additionally, dependent upon the envisaged future role, be able to assist in the promotion and presentation of the business and its capabilities to customer and prospective customers.

Lead of Quality Engineering and Continuous Improvement

Organization of Quality Department and Implementation of Lean Manufacturing and SixSigma Projects
•Resolving production quality issues as reported by manufacturing staff. Responsible for improving product quality by performing and reporting design testing / checks of new products, processing legacy product quality issues, production verification to a satisfactory conclusion and day-to-day problem solving of production quality (technical) issues.
•Leads the effort to continuously improve quality disciplines and drives design modifications’ to achieve such standards by using processes like Request To Change (RTC) documentation to the project teams.
•Overseas the analysis of routine monthly and weekly failure trend analysis of common problems reported, working with internal customers to ensure sustainable and traceable improvement to such areas.
•Undertakes, where appropriate, inspection of critical components received into the company for use in production and records the results into the goods inwards inspection database.
•Leads kaizen and six sigma efforts to achieve statistical analysis of received components utilising relevant measuring equipment and techniques.
•Works with internal customers to define quality standards for implementation by suppliers and ensures mechanisms are in place to evaluate/monitor suppliers performance against the agreed standards
•Carries out, where appropriate, routine visits to vendors’ premises to ensure that the vendor’s manufacturing processes are operating to agreed standards, and where appropriate, agrees corrective and preventive actions with the vendor.
•Performs Vendor Assessment audits of new suppliers during the selection process of new suppliers and completes the Vendor Assessment documentation.
•Progresses problems reported to suppliers to a satisfactory conclusion and formally report the results of the investigations to management.
•Performs Group process audits as a member of the Group Management System audit team.
•Prepares monthly reports relating to the status of reported issues, planned projects, etc., for distribution to management.
