External project for Social Networking Site, US – Design hardware / networking / monitoring infrastructure.
Remote hardware / networking / security consultant for this medium sized customer, who expected a large increase in their user base and general traffic. The task was to advise on the details of the new infrastructure aimed at allowing greater scalability, high availability and reducing the downtime.
Technologies: hardware assessment, high availability, routing, switching, load balancing, security (VPNs, ACLs, operating system level).
Scale: Potential 5000 Users.

An internal project to design, implement and later maintain an internal datacenter infrastructure, done in two stages:
- to create a datacenter to accommodate all the company services, systems and resources (including the hosted websites, mail server, git repositories, backups, centralised logging, et cetera). The main issue was to make sure the services are reachable, centralised, easy to manage and secure.
- connecting all four offices (Kraków, Budapest, Stockholm, London). This task included creating local networks and connecting them to the datacenter resources thus creating a global network. Several security measures have been implemented to make sure that all the reassures of the company and its clients are accessed and stored safely.

Administrator Systemów Komputerowych
On-site developer in a project on a national scale. The task was to design, implement and later maintain a large-scale main and backup datacenter. The first stage was to design an ERP system for the Polish National Forest Agency. This included creating the datacenter itself, backup and disaster recovery plans, training the local staff and providing detailed documentation. The second stage included orchestrating the operating systems, implementing the centralised logging system and creating a monitoring system of the infrastructure.
