"Added Value. Global Design from Poland" exhibition
Between May 21 and September 6, 2009, an exhibition of the series of "Good design Practices" was held, organised by the Institute of Industrial Design. The exhibition was named: "Added Value. Global Design from Poland". Delta Prototypes was invited to take part in the event and to present one of their projects in the permanent exposition at the exhibition. 40 products of Polish designers in seven thematic categories were presented at the exhibition, which reflect the strengths of the Polish design and its contexts. To quote the organizer of the exhibition: “At the exhibition of the series of "Good design Practices”, we will present the best of Polish modern design and innovative implementations which, in our opinion, have the great potential to join the global leaders".
2008
Distinction From The President of The Polish Mechanical Engineers Association (S.I.M.P.)
In June 2008, during the National Competition for the Award of the Diploma and the Prize of the President of the Association of Polish Mechanical Engineers and Technicians, for the best thesis of the mechanical profile, the one by Michał Latacz, providing a theoretical description of the drive mechanism based on the cuttlefish movement, was awarded the second degree distinction.
2008
Nomination to Tadeusz Sendzimir Centennial Award
Delta Prototypes R&D program has received the exclusive nomination to the Tadeusz Sendzimir Centennial Award granted by the Polish-American Kosciuszko Foundation. This prestigious award is granted by the Foundation every five years to "promising researchers having a novel idea, whose implementation could contribute to changes in one of the areas of the Polish economy or industry." Event commemorates the character of Dr. Tadeusz Sendzimir, an outstanding Polish inventor and engineer who in the thirties, with the support of investors realized his innovative ideas.
2008
Minister of Science and Higher Education Award for international inventive achievements.

2007
Gold Medal with special Mention from the international jury of the famous Brussels Eureka contest
for the patented wave vessel propulsion technology
Brussels Innova Expo is the biggest Summit of Innovation and New Technologies in Europe. The main subject of the Brussels exhibition was energy and it’s processing. As a part of Innova Expo, the Brussels Eureka competition took place, in which a jury of experts in different fields of science carried out a thorough, reliable assessment of the innovations being presented. In spite of numerous contestants (almost 500 inventions from all over the world), Michal Latacz was awarded a gold medal with special mention from international jury! The Brussels experts view the concept not only as a solution for inexpensive water transport, but also stressed the fact that the drive is very quiet. The invention was also distinguished as a promising technology whose development may have considerable importance for the environment of our planet
