Responsibilities:
• Designing, developing, coding, testing and delivery of re-usable ETL solutions using Pentaho for several customers including;
• Currently working as the Lead BI Developer for a large recycling organisation using Pentaho PDI, creating business logic and all necessary Data Warehouse operations within an automated environment as well as front end self-service portal using cTools/Sparkl for bootstrap-based Dashboards with full MDX query development.
• Previous roles include working on automating price and stock systems receiving thousands of various format updates for a distribution company from the Aviation industry: Full implementation of ETL to automate and replace manual data handling and updating with complex business logic requirements.
• Developed business logic and all necessary Data Warehouse operations within an automated environment as well as front end self-service portal using cTools/Sparkl for bootstrap-based Dashboards with full MDX query development.
• OLAP cubes design and development, analysis, and dashboard development.
• Designing, developing and coding using C-TOOLS components of Pentaho to create attractive analytical portals and enhancing a customer refresh program.
• Providing training and mentorship to junior developers and business users for on-going reporting and analytical support for several customers
