Operations / duties:

Transport /supply chain/customer service - Skarbimierz/PL based production site,

- Duties extended to newly built chocolate plant

- Managing the international intercompany – overland transports of finished / semi-finished goods – markets replenishing, organizing the road, rail, ocean & air freights , customs /sanitary clearance dealing
- Markets fulfillment service, support of category supply planning team

- Participation in long –term production forecast
- Preparations for SOP meetings with 3PL companies
- Managing and planning the domestic primary hauls of goods destined for co-packing / co-manufacturing
- Analyses of logistics providers , service level evaluation
- Co-operation with external subcontractor - warehousing , co-packing and shipping
- Support and execute export process to overseas countries, especially emerging markets, discussing their product demands


Procurement support:

- Optimisation projects – space utilization, payload utilization, alternative distribution means
- Procurement dept support by raw-materials, flavorings and packing materials logistics
- Participation in ocean freight initiatives – global tender,, European overland tender initiatives, establishing new liquid materials supply chain
- Participating in establishing major KPI factors for hauliers
- Participating in negotiations regarding the performance driven bonus – malus system for hauliers

- co-organization of inbound raw materials transport tender - USA – EU


Projects:

- Participation in Optimization projects – space utilization, payload utilization, – 2009 , additional pallet layers
- Slip sheet introduction – all overseas shipments of chewing gums
- “Swirl” project participation –introducing / production of “premium “chewing gum
- XL China – production and export of gum pellets – PL to China ( sourcing of an emerging market)
- F&P project – Production, export of finished goods PL to Nigeria
- Poland lead rail freight project, introduction of intermodal freight - finished goods over Poland / other European countries – rail loads - - intra company press release about the project and the lead persons ( per request)

- Poland lead & co-ordination of rail freight project JIT initiative. Continuing of rail project with greater geographical coverage , introducing the intermodal freights to new lanes , covering more plants.

Other achievements

- Achieving savings on a newly established export lanes – over 270 K EUR ( 2009-2010)
- Consolidating shipments to “ Northern Europe” area,
- Setting up the way of working by newly introduced rail project
- Transition of supply chain organization , after merger – switching to EBSC / LCC ways of working – introduced in 3 plants
- Creation of coherent reporting tool for external logistics – 3 plants.
- Establishing USA – PL air LCL connection , with pricing competitive to ocean freight
