The Opportunity Consultant (OC) is responsible to provide financial support to HP Service bid teams in the financial evaluation, risk assessment, pricing and internal approvals required to win profitable engagements.
The OC is expected to maintain independence in all financial matters related to the engagements and ensure that business approvers have a full and open view of the relevant facts & assumptions underlying the engagements financial plan.
This position requires an individual with an understanding of custom service engagements plus good financial analysis and modeling skills to bring information from different Functions and Regions together to estimate cost, price and risk.

One of my most important duties was to plan and manage costs. This was a crucial factor in our cash flow analysis. I was to prepare budgets, forecasts and variance analzsis for Plant Manager as well as for Group COntrollers in France.I wam also responsible for preparing different kinds of reports connected with costs and assets management for our French owner.
Since October 2005 I was assigned to new opened Plant in Jelcz Laskowice to set up all financial parameters in MRP system, to calculate BOM's and prepare budgets for all departments for the following year.

As a Controlling Specialist I was to deal with receivables and liabilities. I was responsible for cost analysis of different kinds, planning and control as well as budget variances or financial excellence indicators analysis.
It was my first job in finance after studies, within 2 years I developed enough to be the only one to provide all necessary financial statements to Finance Director in Poland and different financial managers in the parent company in Germany.
