Derivatives Consultant, ISDA & CSA Negotiator
Chatham Financial Europe, Ltd
- Being subject matter expert on the various ISDA agreements and market standards governing Company's clients' interest rate and foreign exchange transactions;
- Negotiating ISDA & CSA terms (mainly for SPV, fund level, private equity, real estate Clients) and regulatory documentation (EMIR) with banks on behalf of Chatham clients;
- Effectively sharing knowledge relating to ISDA agreements and market standards with clients; educating colleagues across Chatham European offices on ISDA terms and market standards; and developing and maintaining internal and external communication tools that effectively and proactively share this subject matter expertise;
- Coordinating resolution of legal/risk/operational issues with bank counterparties; and fostering strong working relationships with these counterparties;
- Reviewing derivatives documentation (LMA documentation - Facility Agreements, Intercreditor Agreements) for accuracy and consistency with Company's database; assessing non-economicprovisions; summarizing key issues and flag them to respective deal managers.

OTC Derivatives Documentation Specialist (FIG_Corp Legal)
- Action incoming and outgoing OTC Derivatives Documentation (ISDA, CSA, IFEMA, FEOMA amendments, negotiation process coordination);
- Managing end-to-end lifecycle of open negotiation requests;
- Daily cooperation with Client and Relationship Managers, Client Management Support Department;
- Cooperating with HSBC Bank PLC internal departments to ensure that incoming and outgoing Derivatives Documentation and additional documentation is executed properly;
- Supporting Sales Desks, Relationship Managers and FX Prime Services Desk with negotiation, maintenance and management of various types of OTC documentation;
- Maintaining professional business relations with the Clients;
- Supporting and providing advice to Relationship and Client Managers;
- Overseeing timely and accurately creation, maintenance and filling of appropriate records, databases, systems;
- Adhering performance standards with respect to policies and procedures;
- Encouraging and supporting team in their understanding of OTC Derivatives Documentation and applicable procedures;
- Other tasks as assigned (process improvement, reporting, ad hoc queries)

- Review and understand client and vendor contracts with an emphasis on finance approved contract terms
- Support Contract Manager in daily tasks
- Ensure contract compliance for proposed contracts, new contracts and contract renewals
- Leading of Nordic contracts portfolio – Finnish and Norwegian INFRA contracts
- Conducting a legal analysis of chosen IS accounts – leading a special task team of 6 contract analysts
- Update and maintain contract system and database as a result of new or amended contract measures and terms
- Maintain system and data integrity through application of effective controls
- Create and generate scheduled reports from contract system and database
- Prepare ad hoc analysis to support clients, executive management and other internal stakeholders
- Analyze trending of client contract performance
- Assist with managing solutions for reversing negative trends, improving provider benefits and implementing cost savings through reporting
- Draft contract changes including Amendments, Change Requests
- Prepare an Obligation Matrix and track contract deliverables and compliance
- Respond to queries related to contractual documents – including solicit further answers from internal stakeholders (i.e. legal, HR, finance and delivery)
- Maintain of all contractual documents
- Other duties as assigned
