DP Superintendent
Brief Job Description:
- provide specialist DP operational support to the deepwater fleet in operation
- review client requirements & prepare the scope of upgrades needed for the new built vessels
- supervise new built vessels delivery at shipyards - in charge of shipyard CAT & FMEA
- propose, prepare & supervise DP upgrades, commissioning, CAT & FMEA
- preparation of the annual DP Trials programs
- provide training to the new hired DP personnel
- propose technical upgrades for the vessels in operation
- review, assess & recommend CV's for the new applicants
- development of the company DP training program
- development of the company DP personnel assessment program
Construction, client contract compliance, commissioning, FMEA, CAT, SIT, DP upgrades, mobilization, acceptance tests for the client and operational start up of the 6th generation Ultra-Deepwater Drillships at DSME Shipyard, S.Korea:
- Tungsten Explorer
