Key Responsibilities:-

• In charge of the day to day operations of the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) department as senior Planner with a fleet of 250 vehicles all transit to (KSA- JEDDAH /RIYADH/ DAMMAM) transit to JORDAN/ BAHRAIN/ KUWAIT.

• Efficiently managing a team of drivers and vehicles
• Responsible and accountable for timely placement of vehicles to the customers according to projection and request from customer service department to all customers (NESTLE/IKEA/ DANZAS/LANDMARK/REDTEG/RECKITT BENCKISER/Johnson & Johnson/ (HELLMAN for (-30) temperature) according to the customer request as Closed box/ Curtain/ Refers.

• Responsible and accountable for the allocation of vehicles and manpower to dispatch cargo.
• Responsible and accountable for optimal utilization of trucks.

• Responsible and accountable for ensuring that all vehicles are monitored in roam works system from departure to arrival.

• Responsible and accountable to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost.
• Responsible for coordinating with workshop for vehicle related issues and ensuring resolution.

• Responsible for handling emergency situations as per emergency operations SLA/ protocol.
• Responsible for managing the performance of drivers and staff during the shift.

• Responsible for timeously submitting all the requisite reports to superiors.

• Responsible for doing any other related logistics functions as requested or required
• Responsible for getting the right products in the right quantities, to the right locations all at the right time.

• Punching all the Data in Oracle to prepare the delivery reports and to get the GPS report as per route assigned to Drivers.
• Responsible for all of the dispatching, routing, and tracking of delivery vehicles.
• Dispatching complex and oversized goods to national and international destinations.
• Being the first point of contact for all drivers.
• Coordinating with the HR team for driver’s salary and drivers leave plan.
• Coordinate with HSE and Security related matters with the HSE Supervisor and Head of Security respectively.
• Develop and review procedures to improve operational efficiency
• Maintained an active surveillance of market trends and conditions for supplier provided materials and transportation costs.
• Conducted research to determine if customer request was supportable and did not over commit beyond operational capabilities.
• Inspected material to ensure that all specifications as requested by client are met.
• Managing, monitoring and developing a team of drivers and line managers.
