Product Owner in Demant Technology Centre, R&D/Software Solutions - part of William Demant Holding.

As a Product Owner I take part in developing fitting software for hearing instruments.

Product Owner of Syncron's flagship "Inventory Management" product suite (system for aftermarket inventory & supply chain optimization at global distribution centers and in networks of independent Dealers). The product is continuously developed and served in a SaaS model to global companies in chosen industry verticals (2015: customers include Caterpillar, Daimler Trucks, Harley-Davidson, Deutsche Bahn, JCB, Volvo CE, Atlas Copco).
My responsibilities include:
- shaping the product long-term vision, strategic development directions (based on own market research, collaboration with the academia, with researchers at key customers, Syncron Sales/Presales/Professional Services representatives and all stakeholders of the product)
- Shaping the short-term roadmap, prioritizing development tasks
- presenting long-term vision, short-term roadmap and current development efforts to key accounts and to Board of Directors
- preparing Release Highglights upon launching new major versions, presenting new releases to key accounts and at the User Group forum
- coordinating the release cycle, collecting requirements from product stakeholeders and defining the scope of each major version
- taking part in RFQ processes - analysing functional gaps, designing high-level solution proposals for new modules or enhancements, including price and cost estimates
- coordinating daily development process of the product team consisting of Business Analysts, Software Developers and Architects, Data Scientists, Testers, Technical Writers; acting as product owner in Agile development sprints
- taking part in detailed analysis, creating functional specifications with the Business Analysts

- Building frameworks for automated testing of Syncron products
- Developing and maintaining a continuous integration environment (based on Jenkins CI)
- Enhancing development processes for the sake of overall quality and efficiency
- Code quality tutelage and monitoring tools

Polish-to-English translations of daily, weekly and monthly macroeconomic commentaries and reports on financial market
