Transaction Due Diligence - Analyst I

Job Summary:
Responsible for monitoring and analysis of transactional data for identification of patterns and trends of questionable and suspicious activity which are related to risks associated with money laundering, fraud, terrorist financing and global sanctions OFAC lists (Office of Foreign Assets Control). Also conducts investigations which may involve communication with agents, customers, and MoneyGram employees. Always abreast of risks, patterns and trends associated with the Anti Money Laundering and Fraud areas, and tools and techniques for analysis and trend identification.

- Conduct inbound and outbound phone calls with consumers and agents.
- Make decisions to release or refund transactions.
- Document the outcome of the transaction review/consumer interview process.

Compliance Operations -- Specialist II
MoneyGram Payment Systems Poland.
Was responsible for providing assistance and services during inbound and outbound calls with consumers and agents and gather additional proper information in order to assist MoneyGram to take ad hoc appropriate actions (refunded or approved for payout). Also, processed escalated exceptions as a coordinator and an intermediary between MoneyGram and customers, agents, billers, and internal departments of the company.
