- Initiate tear down analysis, conduct root cause analysis, and prepare technical reports.
- Cooperation with customer service people and help them to correctly analyze the no-conformity parts. Support customers field failure diagnosis to avoid unnecessary exchange of parts.
- Maintain lessons learned system and share ideas with the global and local team. Introduce design changes to avoid future warranty cases.
- Attend regular global meeting, report data & new findings or risk to the global team timely.
Create monthly global warranty report.
- Customer regular visit to share new issues in field and reject non-conformity claims.
- Find warranty agreements with customers.
- Closely cooperate with operations, quality and engineering to seek opportunities for continuous
improvement.
- Global collaboration about field onsite support or handle urgent complaint for BorgWarner other plants.
- Introduction and maintain NTF(NFF) No trouble Found process acc. to VDA standards.
- Supervision, register and maintain warranty fields returns system
- Supervision of working instructions
