Lead analyst of the Alcatel Lucent ES Account accounting team. Scope includes actual management of the complete global P&L and balance sheet through account start-up and run. This includes over 100 countries, including all IT Outsourcing and Applications service lines, including HP product and maintenance.

Duties:

1. support of accounting policy implementation, and establishment of accounting processes and tools on the ALU account
2. set-up and execution of intercompany processes between worldwide legal entities and HP business units. Support of statutory reporting requirements in 100+ countries.
3. Execution of accounting submissions, including policy application, balance sheet recoverability analysis, and cost deferral support packages.
4. primary interface to FP&A team in reporting close, executing variance analysis of results
5. primary interface to non-ES HP units, in development and execution of cost / revenue sharing agreements, including both management and legal / statutory requirements
6. ALU Accounting Manager on all topics (driven the accounting team as Manager /Lead for ALU and E.ON deals)
7. execute ad-hoc financial analysis to support account and corporate/regional initiatives

Role entails leading and managing all deliverables for IPG EMEA (finance) associated to compliances processes and act as a business partner / consultant.
> SOX requirements are handled effectively (assessment, remediation, documentation, usages) within the HP requirement.
> Business Controls are effective and aligned with HP Accounting financial Manual and HP Policies.
> Compliances requirements (and their financial impacts) from external changes (e.g. Change in law related to product classification, copyright law suits, etc…) are managed with appropriate partners (Global trade, Tax, business Partners) at all level (from VP to individual contributors involved).
> Contingency reporting is under control (appropriate reflections of risk and communication associated).

MEC Activities consolidation for Europe- controlling of fallouts, mistakes on all accounts (if correct Cost Center, Business Areas or Profit Centers are in use), posting accruals if needed, help in creation of new Product Lines, confirming corrections made by other members, trades (AP, AR, GL); Reconciliation of controlling accounts;
Responsibility for Account Reconciliation Tracking Tool- controlling if all accounts are assign to proper members, making changes, providing trainings from the Tool, preparing reports, checking the quality of reconciliations, reporting directly to EMEA managers with the results;
Superuser from SAP- providing trainings from new comers, members of the whole controlling team to improve their skills in using this program;
