PY/PA Senior Specialist
IKEA Business Service Center, Poznań
• Perform daily payroll department operations (payment calculations) for about 1000 employees
• Preparing trainings for new employees
• Expertise knowledge (responsible for special topics concerning German payroll)
• Participating in hand-over ( responsible for transfer of documents and knowledge from Germany to Poland)
• Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed timely and accurately: data processing based on original German documents (SAP R3, HR system)
• Processes such as:
- hire, rehire, transfer promotion, end of employment
- leaves (sickness, holidays, unpaid leave, maternity time etc.)
- manage payroll related data (calculating tax, social insurance, additional payments concerning salaries, garnishments, bonuses, one off payments etc.)
- manage pension fund
- partial retirement
• Filling up of certifications for employees and offices (of earnings, sickness, for different offices)
• Preparing monthly reports (manual checks, ad hoc queries)
• Current cooperation with employees (Service Desk), Human Resources and offices
• Creating and updating procedures concerning German payroll. Taking part in the transition process (workshadowing in Potsdam, 4 months)
• Participating in external trainings (Hamburg, Potsdam, Poznań)
• Member of the group responsible for improvements in the process
