Configuration Manager
1. Accountable for the effective operation of the configuration management solution
2. Ensuring that all configuration management related processes are followed and that the Data Ownership model is effectively managed
3. Management of the team of Data Quality managers and support them in their roles and decisions
4. Ensuring that appropriate up-to-date configuration management related documentation and training is provided
5. Ensuring that all configuration management related service requests are met, including reporting requests, process support etc.
6. Management of the portfolio of service enhancements, both requested by users and identified internally. This includes prioritisation, documentation and planning for implementation

Data Quality Manager
ITIL Configuration Management
Main tasks:
• Quality assurance of the data contained within the CMDB
• Accountable for the data quality processes. This includes ensuring the data managers understand their role, spotting process improvements and resolving processes issues in cooperation with data managers.
• Identifies new data managers and trains them on the tool, processes and standards. Provides training upon request to CMDB users. Maintains of online help documentation.
• Interprets through audits results and verification, exceptions in the CMDB data and facilitates the resolution of these through the data manager. Polices the information in the CMDB against defined standards and escalates where standards are not being met to data owners.
