Lead cross-functional team of Electronics, Software and Verification engineers, with accountability to deliver new products for Engine Systems (Engine Control Units, Ignition Controls, Valves). Direct report to Director of Engineering in US, represent local team in global organization. Accountable for: local project execution (with PM support); team management and growth; department expenses budgeting and precise budged execution over a fiscal year; strategic planning for Krakow location. Mentoring, coaching and motivating team members to perform beyond their comfort zones.

Direct supervisor for Embedded SW and SW Verification departments (14 members). In charge of recruitment process, members career growth, yearly performance evaluation and promotions. Responsible for department and capital expenses. Participate in budgeting, strategic planning, technology roadmaps and global improvement initiatives. Project planning, technical task definition and assigning to engineers. Follow up on progress and issues. Providing necessary resources for daily engineering work.

Participate in full development process cycle, from requirements capture and definition (DOORS), thru conceptual software designing and architecting, up to code implementation, testing and verification. Products: Industrial controls for Engine and Turbine Systems.

Manage, understand, and satisfy customer requirements and expectations, including changes, to deliver quality systems and maximize productivity. Responsible for tests, methods, and procedures to ensure continuous improvement to software quality assurance standards. Defines and implements design rules, techniques, and methods to set reliability and quality goals.

Located in Cd. Juarez, MEXICO.
Developing and implementing automated End of Line test systems during New Product Introduction process. Working with broadband products for TV and Cable operators like encoders, decoders, management units and set-tops.
