Responsible for the financial accounting of legal entities in France, Netherlands and Israel. Providing accounting and financial support to ensure sound internal controls and accounting in according with GAAP and corporate policy. Analyzing financial data and trends to assist management in financial and management decision-making.

* Responsibility over accounting, tax and statistical reporting , including:

* US GAAP accounting (quarterly and annual Group reporting)

* Statuary accounting reporting and audit

* Performing month-end closing activities including accounts reconciliation

* Cooperating with auditors, tax advisors, accounting firms

* Responsibility regarding all tax matters: VAT, CIT, Statistical Reporting

* Ensuring accurate and timely postings on GL including: fixed assets, prepaid, accruals, provisions

* Providing high quality service to internal and external customers.

Supporting the Finance Teams of the International Paper EMEA entities in conducting a broad array of their accounting processes, including the month end close and other GL activities.

* Perform accurate calculations and recording of transactions in compliance with (USGAAP) and accounting policies.

* Accounting and analytical support by providing information on business performance and projects.

* Prepare and record month-end processing (calculate and record accruals, calculate inventory fluctuations, validate sales revenue levels) supporting the local Controllers.

* Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations for approval by Local Finance leadership and co-ordinate with internal and external auditors as required

* Design, communicate and implement accounting activity process optimization and standardization projects.

* Involvement in the migration of planned accounting activities to the team in Krakow, including shadowing activities on site.

* Coordinate and communicate the necessary training for local plants and manage the change of process

* Implementation of the centralized solution and appropriate documenting of the process using process maps and procedures.

Responsible for timely collection of unpaid customer invoices of Belgium and French entities, while minimizing overdue accounts. Responsible for all the monthly reporting of the aged debt within the department. Monitoring customers’ payment trends, through various SAP reporting tools, and reporting back the findings to the management, in monthly reviews and monthly metrics.

Taking part in the transition of AP processes from client’s Mills in Gijon/Spain: KA of processes, trainings, go-live, stabilization of the process and improvements. Managing the Raw Materials, Warehouses and Services accounts payable function, by the supervision of the OS team, optimizing efficiency and strengthening internal controls. Solving incidences: SAP incidences, financial and accounting problems - PGC, checking of purchase orders.

Multifunctional role covering distributor desk activities, all customer service activities and also undertaking

centralized order entry and order management for EMEA region. Working closely with multiple department in a

multilingual environment (Supply chain, European Distribution Center, Price management, Sales, IT, Master data,

Finance, HR).
