High Pressure Die Casting of Magnesium
Scope of resposibility:
- Develop and maintain Category Business Plan for all foundry purchases (raw materials, casting tools, die casting machines and equipment, etc.)
- Negotiating price and conditions for parts and services,
- Annual price negotiation and cost reduction activities to achive cost targets,
- Creating risk assessment plans for material supply and suppliers,
- Maintain a central FMS perspective on all business decisions.

- creating a strategy for particular commodities in the division, at the moment plastic components and resins,
- conducting analysis of supplier selections,
- identificaiton of best in class suppliers that meet Valeo criteria,
- participation in coordination at the branch and group level,
- make and intruduction of the productivities,
- quality assurance of the purchasing components.

- conduct offer actions and price negotiations,
- initiate and conquer new, optimal sources of purchase,
- creation of reports regarding purchase acitivities,
- project champion: BPCS Upgrade,
- project champion: launch of new purchasing system (SRM – Supplier Relationship Management).
