During start up phase the responsibility for recruitment of key management roles. Audit and supervise construction and feed in process, after the plant has been set up in Bialogard responsibility for managing the plant through achieving productivity, quality and client Service Level Agreements and to ensure no clients are lost.
Responsible for the site, which will include: HR, operation, finance, staff health and safety and the adherence to relevant Polish law and legislation.
Specific task include:
• Build and manage professional, “self responsibility” team
• Create “team work” organization culture and proper communication with UK
• Implement and follow operation processes
• Build ISO system
• Create and follow the budget
• Participate in Executive Team decision
• Planning and reporting

Projects Implementation and Engineering Manager
General responsibility for successful implementation of the processing projects in Baltic States and Poland. The success is measured as Customer Satisfaction and reaching the calculated project profitability. In addition the IEM is responsible to give adequate support to the Account Managers in during the quotation phase. In all cases it is important that the EIM considers the particular requirements of each of the four markets in question.
The specific tasks include:
• Assure that adequate resources and competences as to Engineering and Implementation are in place to enable successful implementation of projects
• Full line management responsibility for all Engineering and Implementation staff. This includes coaching, preparation and follow up of development plans as well as regular feedback and performance evaluation with all staff. In areas related to competence development the EIM must work very closely w the Technical Manager
• Definition and forceful implementation of efficient processes related to project planning, implementation and project follow up
• Allocation of appropriate resources to Pre projects and Implementation projects in close co-operation with Central Europe Cluster Mgmt
• Finding suppliers of equipment and services required for allocated projects, negotiate favourable terms and conditions for Tetra Pak
• Representing the company in front of our customers
• Driving the takeover process of projects
• Projects management
• ISO follow up

Responsibility for production, purchasing, maintenance and quality departments (around 50 million US$ per year and 100 workers) in the following areas:
• To establish all working procedures in the baby food factory and follow up their applications.
• To prepare the production program on a yearly, monthly and weekly basis in accordance with the sales plan.
• To implement the application of the following procedures:
- HACCP
- ISO 9002 (subject to request and Board approval only)
- Hygiene and sanitary procedures
- Quality control procedures
- Laboratory procedures (follow up and consultation only)
• Manage the maintenance team regarding equipment/machinery, service and maintenance plans.
• Implement and follow purchasing procedures.
• Create an internal reporting system.

Responsibility for investment (yearly investment and operation budget) and maintenance departments, also for environment and media. Managed 110 people. Reduced headcount reduced overtime form 25% to 2% and time down from 4,5% to less then 1,5%. Initiated two new projects: Consolidation of factory and new technology of cooking. Responsible for communication with suppliers and contracts negotiation (last ones: for over 600 thousands EUR with German company and over 1500 thousands EUR with polish company). Worked with ISO. Very good knowledge of baby food process concerning: raw material preparation (freezing, cutting, making puree, storing), cooking (pasteurizing, sterilizing), jars packaging, packaging de-palletizing, final product palletizing and storing. Knowledge of quality controlling system and HACCP system.
Plant Manager
Responsibility for: two-production department, technical department, plant area and buildings. Started organized work, introduced new production process. Managed 120 persons (350 in season time). Communication with local government. Coordination raw material supply chain. Started to implement integrated managing system (SAP). Knowledge of fruit and vegetables freezing process also “fruit preparation” (semi finished product for yoghurt) cooking and packaging process used with HACCP system.

Created work organization and procedures, doubled productivity, tripled production value, and created professional, strong, synergistic team (45 persons). Worked with integrated managing system build by IBM for SIAS. Quality based on TQM philosophy. Knowledge of fruit and vegetables freezing process also “fruit preparation” (semi finished product for yoghurt) cooking and packaging process used with HACCP system. Solved microbiological problems.
