BPCC Trade Team - 'Connecting Business, Creating Trade'

Summary of duties:
• Coordination of the project 'Warsaw Technology Incubator'
• Design and supervision of the project’s database, documentation system and website
• Management and participation in the commercialization process of innovative ideas, including market research, analysis of economic and innovative value, IP management, negotiations with investors
• Organization of conferences, workshops, and business to science meetings (B2S)
• Coordination of a group of specialists called ‘Entrepreneurship Managers’
• Preparation of reports on project progress and completion
• Preparation of licence and cooperation agreements
• Contact and cooperation with companies as well as public, government and financing institutions
• Supervision of project finances
End result: Successful achievement of all targets within schedule of Project

Participation in developing and organizing projects with the goal of fostering entrepreneurship and innovation as well as increasing IP awareness among Polish companies and academia, including:

• IP-Hub: Intellectual Property Management Competence Center: professional training sessions in the subject of IP Management – IP Workshop (a series of seven two-day meetings for SMEs) and IP Road Show (conferences in eight academic centers).

• International IP Management Forum – the Key to Successful Economy 2010: Three day series of conferences and symposia on the topic of IP Management.

• Pol-Nord Bridge: Polish-Norwegian cooperation in the field of invention commercialization, including economic analysis, creation of fully professional business models and presentations for potential investors (Short Pitch Competition in October 2010 in Trondheim, Norway).

Participation in the analysis of financial statements of companies in the financial sector.

• Participation in the organization of AmCham events, including: ECACC Fall Conference 2007, monthly meeting, Business Mixer and CEO Forum
• Assistance with current AmCham projects, including creation of American Investor magazine
