I'm developing a payroll program called Pyramid using Delphi XE6 and Microsoft SQL Server.

I developed software called ISSAC (Integrated Sales & Stock Accounting) for the wholesale food service distribution and supply sector across the UK. My range of responsibilities included adding enhancements, bug fixing, testing and Customer Support Service over phone and mail. I used Kylix 3, which is an old version of Delphi for Linux, and PostgreSQL database. I worked in a team of 8 programmers, however in most cases my day-to-day tasks were independent. The company used NetBeans as a Version Control System. Occasionally I was required to travel on-site to our customers' offices to train new customers to use ISSAC.

I worked for a leading software company in the German pharmaceutical field. As the only Delphi programmer within the team I was developing an application called Fakturierung which was used by 1000+ pharmacies across Germany. The application was written in Delphi 2007. It used Bold For Delphi, a database framework, List&Label, third party components for creating reports, and Access database. Apart of pure programming (adding new features and bug fixing) I was also responsible for testing. I created several test automations using TestComplete 7. The company used Tortoise for version controlling, and Jira for tasks management.
I had a chance to work for 1 month with SAP Cloud for Customer Studio for Goodyear. Without any prior knowledge of SAP I managed to learn the basics and deliver a few solutions.

I worked remotely for an Australian company that manages websites for kids’ activities in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. I was responsible for all three back-end systems of mentioned countries making sure all data was presented correct in accordance to the company structure. I managed a small team of 3 people that gathered new data for the company and formatted it in accordance with company's standards.

I was working as an IT, Math and English Teacher teaching students of grades M1 through M6 (12-18 years old) in English Program and Non-English Program. My main focus was on computer classes where I taught basic and intermediate programming in Object Pascal (Delphi), C++, and PHP, as well as computer graphics using Adobe Photoshop, and tools such as Movie Maker and Excel.

During my time with TATA Consultancy Service I worked in three projects/companies as a contractor sent by the company I was employed with.

AC NIELSEN, 03/2008 - 05/2009, DENMARK & INDIA
I was the only Delphi developer in the project. Responsible for all end-to-end work. Preparing specifications for the client, developing new features, bug fixing and testing. The entire system I worked on consisted of around ten applications implemented in Delphi 7, Delphi 5 and Visual C++ 6. It did not have any database. All the data was stored in binary files which made the development both more difficult but challenging at the same time. All applications were used to manipulate market research data from all Nordic countries and separately from all over the world. Generated data was used to prepare output reports, CSV and SPSS files and Excel spreadsheets.

CITI GROUP, 04/2007 - 02/2008, INDIA
I was responsible for all funding related issues in a system of mortgaging houses across the United States. The team, which I was a member of, worked in Agile Project Management. The entire team was divided into groups of 2-3 developers. After 6 months I had the privilege to lead one of groups. The system was developed in Delphi 2005 and Oracle database. I was required to constantly work on preparing technical documentation based on always changing business requirements. Simultaneously I was adding new features and changing the current functionality whenever required.

GE MONEY UK, 02/2006 - 02/2007 UK & INDIA
I was developing an application called Avanti dedicated for selling cars across UK by Fiat. The application was implemented in Delphi 7 and Oracle 10 database. Two times (March-April 2006 and August-October 2006) I was working in client’s office in Leeds, UK. As the only Delphi developer I was responsible of all types of coming Delphi SCR’s. Being in a close touch with the client and all stakeholders and gatekeepers I was developing code changes and also preparing SQL scripts for changing all user databases. I needed to use CITRIX and special DOS based tools dedicated only for the project, like PanCredit and FAFS, to upload SQL scripts on Oracle server. The role required also a solid knowledge of Oracle database and applications, like PL/SQL Developer and SQL Plus in order to test and retrieve data from production environment.

I started working as a Junior Team Member, but after 3 months I was promoted to a Senior Team Member role in one of the biggest Web Industry companies in India providing web solutions for international clients mainly from US, Canada and the United Kingdom.
My role was to create web services with shopping carts using PHP, MySQL, Smarty and Pear. I was working mostly independently or in a small team consisting of 3 developers, whose at a later stage I was leading.

During the last 3 years of my university studies I was a co-owner of a small software company. I was creating Delphi applications and PHP web services for small and medium companies in Poland, like Polish Fishing Association and Academy of Science. Being involved in the whole SDLC, my role was to analyze requirements, implement them, develop a final database systems, and do bug fixing. I was using Delphi 4 with Paradox databases, and PHP with MySQL.
