TuShare is a web portal which allows people to give things that they no longer need to one another for free. It is the fastest growing sharing site in Australia.
Responsibilities:
• Undertaking spatial analysis of customer density (using thematic and heat maps) and growth in time
• Preparing and publishing maps in PDF format for presentation at the annual GeoNext Conference
• Successfully working with Open Source Software (QGIS, Libre Office) and data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS)
• Cleansing and applying QA/QC processes to customers’ data prior to spatial analyses.

• Successfully prepared map products depicting billboard locations using GPS, OpenStreetMap and Quantum GIS
• Geotagged over 100 photos for Biuro-Kruk project which was prepared for an advertising agency
• Negotiated excellent conditions relating to the booking of conference facilities for a Quantum GIS course. This included clauses which allowed the booking to be delayed 24hrs prior with no obligations
• Organised and facilitated the conduct of Quantum GIS courses for 5-6 participants
• Received positive feedback from client regarding professional service and delivery of high quality maps for Biuro-Kruk

Communicating and negotiating with clients on delivery schedule, pricing and contract insurance. Acquiring new customers by cold-calling. Preparing sales offers of steel cold-formed profiles for customers, making sales orders, establishing delivery schedules for customers. Supervising due and timely clients’ payments.

GIS Data processing

Leading a medium – sized company, with more than 70 employees, in the field of road measurement and GIS services. As a part of the GIS team, I was directly responsible for road-map making with RoadScan Software using photos with GPS coordinates which were gathered using a vehicle mounted imaging system. Interpreted surveyor maps (georeferenced rasters) and Google Map images for road map making.
Major achievements:
• Successfully compared surveyor maps, photogrammetry maps and photos (of highly complicated urban areas) for updating road maps for Poznan Road Authority using RoadScan software with a very high level of details
• Reduced time (by 10%) for digitalisation of road maps by suggesting new tools (snap, closing polygon by double click) in RoadScan software

The GIS Department is a part of Poznan City Council and responsible for maintaining cadastral maps and records, the Council’s asset management database, providing survey data and managing the Poznan Spatial Information System (SIS).
Major achievements:
• Prepared numerous high quality maps using Adobe Photoshop and scanned and plotted maps for the surveyor team
• Successfully carried out measurements using Leica Disto Plus equipment and GPS eTrex devices to update SIS for the City of Poznan with Geo-Info software

Wroclaw University of Technology
Wroclaw University of Technology is of the best performing technical universities in Poland – with over 35000 students, 2 000 academic teachers in 12 faculties. During my postgraduate studies, I prepared a thesis entitled “Analysis of Grene Internet shop clients using GIS tools” which is spatial analysis of the e-commerce customers of the international Grene company.
Major achievements:
• Produced a cartographic relief depiction using Total Station and GPS-RTK equipment. Imported, manipulated and visualised the data using ArcGIS software
• Migrated statistical data (csv to dbf) from Polish Bureau of Statistics to ArcGIS
• Created and demonstrated thematic maps in ArcMap showing analysis of customers/sales
• Geo-referenced several maps using ArcGIS
• Joined company sales data with local councils’ boundaries and postal codes in ArcGIS
• Prepared analysis of dependencies between shops’ location and customers buying in online store for trading company – this thesis was marked as very good (91%-100%)

• Prepared a 3D map and visualisation of Mierzecka Struga catchment using the ArcGIS 3D Analyst extension with ArcScene
• Successfully prepared over 100 maps of lakes in the Mierzecka Struga river catchment using MapInfo
• Worked as an interactive member of a hydrology team which developed maps and collected field measurements using GPS and current meter and magnetic flow meters for the Sierakow Landscape Park. Prepared map products using advanced cartographic principles and ArcGIS
• Developed a bathymetry map of the Mierzynskie Lake using echo sounding and GPS equipment and prepared an analogue map using traditional interpolation techniques (e.g. triangulation)

• Collected field data in the Slowinski National Park using Kata Thermometer, GPS, heliograph, barometer and collected weather observations

M1 Pacific Motorway extension to Raymond Terrace
The NSW Government is providing $7 million in 2016-17 to continue planning for a future extension of the M1 Pacific Motorway to the Pacific Highway at Raymond Terrace.
The proposed upgrade includes:
15 kilometres of dual carriageway motorway with two lanes in each direction, bypassing Hexham and Heatherbrae
Interchanges at Black Hill, Tarro, Tomago Road and north of Heatherbrae
A 2.6 kilometre bridge over Woodlands Close, the Main Northern Railway, New England Highway and Hunter River
Minimum flood immunity along the new roadway between Black Hill and Tomago for a one in 100 year flood event
Minimum flood immunity along the new roadway between Tomago and Raymond Terrace for a one in 20 year event.
Key benefits of the proposal include:
