Building relationship between database group and internal customers, mostly focusing on Europe, North and South Africa, Middle East. Database environment is over 8000 SQL databases and more than 1000 Oracle instances
Main responsibilities:
• Novartis IT infrastructure transition into GSK - "100 applications"​ project (Vaccines and Consumer sites: Rosia, Siena, Marburg, Nyon, Lincoln/Nebraska, Singapore)
• SDR SQL Server – reviewing and preparation solution&infrastructure for new application, tech refresh, transition
• ITCP coordination (Oracle & SQL Server) - critical applicaitons fro all BU: Consumer, GMS, Pharma, R&D(LIFT, OneCDS, Shipper, Salsa, IT2, Grace, Stydy Portal eDX, HARP, iTAG, Seroad, MDM, Pace, Wisdom, SUN Fianncials, Manugistics, ECM, Opal, GLIMS, OneCDP, Provantis, RAMOS, Inform, PCM)
• Leads design, planning and scheduling of all HSC patching of Oracle on Windows supported by Database Hosting for CDISY sites
• Coordinating all HSC patching activities of Oracle databases supported by Database Hosting at local sites for all of Europe, MENA/SA
• Responsible for ensuring database version compliance for Database Hosting at local sites for all of Europe, MENA/SA
• Responsible for coordinating moves of Oracle and SQL Server databases support by Database Hosting from local sites to core data centers
• Shared responsibility for approving hosting of applications on Oracle and SQL Server
• Access management, elevated privileges, PAMS
• Change management, reviewing and approving changes
• Capacity management – mostly SQL Server area
• In Market Transformation (TOM) engagement , delivering database analysis details about local markets environments
• 3 years R&D project the biggest database upgrading: Oracel9i@Solatis to Oracle11g@Linux. Completed in 2014. Planning and preparing

Day to day database support - backup and recovery, performance, monitoring and management, account and space management, database hosting and configuration, database troubleshooting, database installation, patching, upgrades, database capacity planning and tech refreshing, database tools administration, DBMS architecture standards and guidelines management, and consulting services to business IT groups.
Main responsibilities:
• Compliance, release and security management: Oracle Critical Patch Update applying every quarter - planning and applying patches for all supported servers across EU, AsiaPac, MiddleEast, Canada, Latina.
• Account Manager for GMS – Point of Contact for GMS in Ireland; weekly service review – SLA; in advance planning, scheduling of patching, tech refresh, to meet GSH compliance requirements.
• Tech refresh for France – 27 databases migrated, upgraded from locally managed Solaris to UK DC; planning, scheduling with other team coordination and implemented. Good relation and cooperation with customer.

Database support as SystemDBA and also AppDBA (UK Pharma and big EU markets Romania, France, Spain, Italy, Germany) - variety environments: Windows, Unix (HP-UX, Solaris, Red Hat).
Main responsibilities:
• Supporting, developing and integration reporting system IRIS based on SQL Server and Reporting Services. Tool was widely used and supported infrastructure change management, compliance, SLA metrics.
• Implemented: 2 years project leading applying required Oracle Critical Patch Updates for whole Tech Centre database fleet.
• Transition of Latina region into Tech Centre database support – Service Owner role, harmonization, standardization.
• Leading and training others: 7 weeks project based in Malaysian new Technical Center in Kuala Lumpur, preparing, showing ways of working and processes for database group; starting up of Tech Centre site.

Administration Oracle databases, Oracle Discoverer, Oracle Report Server, Oracle Application Servers (OAS) on Windows. Supporting Oracle developers environments.

The main product support and developing - Inwestor WEB – energy sector: National Polish Oil and Gas Company and Regional Gas Companies. Product has been honored at VIII Symposium „IT Systems for power industry.

Post deploying responsibility (Project Manager) for 2 maintenance projects - Inwestor WEB; managing requests and delivering fixes and new functionality, maintain relationship with customers and end users. Monthly service review. Projects were externally audited by KEMA and passed ISO certification.

Maintenance IT infrastructure: MS Windows NT 4.0 Server, MS Exchange 5; LAN and WAN management Poznań, Warsaw, Zurich and London (WAN); installation and configuration PCs for Oracle and Visual Studio developers; defining and maintain security policy and managing backups.

Building a structural computer network in new IMPAQ office; installation and configuration developer computers with MS Windows 95/98 , NT4.0 Workstation with a Microsoft NT4.0 Server domain controller.
