Marketing Manager (head of marketing)
BIC Russia & CIS
Marketing Manager in Russia & CIS (10 countries) responisble for all 3 product categories (Stationery, Lighters, Shavers).
Responsibilities included:
* Managing a team of 7 people (4 Product Managers, 1 Catman, 2 Assistants)
* Building a multi-functional team to address new challenges / coach and train direct reports;
* Defining the LTS for the subsidiary for the next 3 years
* Translating the strategy into marketing plans and actions
* Working closely with the HQ to define the optimal initiative master plan.
* Full control over the 4Ps
* Brand strategy development and implementation
* Planning & organizing of the full brand support initiatives (ATL & BTL)
* Emphasis on strong trade marketing support & tracking of KPI’s.
* Full P&L responsibility
* Lead new product launches with full cycle of development.
* Defining mer. standards, assortment by channel & key clients
* Facilitating category management with our clients.
* Defining research needs & launching studies (brand health tracking, shopper studies, U&A)
* Bringing best global marketing practices in to Russia & setting new best practices for the region
* Business Analysis (forecasting, post-analysis, strategic planning, Market share analysis)
* Setting up & defining new marketing processes within the company.

Responsibilities included:
* Achieving OIS & GP% targets
* Negotiation of conditions (yearly) - closed between 1-2 yearly negotiation cycles with each client
* Implentation of new product launches & portfolio optimization
* Development & implementation of new category solutions.
* Equipping the SR with necessary tools to reach targets + gain instore visibility.
* Launch of new categories.
Key Achievements:
* Exceeded targets & booked double digit growth (+26% year to year) within the first year.
* Developed & implemented new category solutions at clients
