HR & Administration Director
Before HR Manager Operations
Plans, organizes and directs all Human Resources, Security, Fleet, Training and Administration activities for the Factory.
Guides the professional development of the management team reporting directly
Ensures a comprehensive compensation plan is in place to hire, and retain employees, consistent with the Company Guidelines.
Directs all activities of training to ensure staff is adequately trained to meet staffing requirements.
Provides support, on an as needed basis, to assist GSC Human Resources, by utilizing necessary resources both from a Lead Factory, global and regional approach, in conjunction with GSC initiatives.
Initiates the process for Personnel Policy changes required to accommodate the GSC region operational activities. Ensures a fair and consistent practice is maintained for application of all policies and procedures, relating to Human Resources, from the Company. Regional and local perspective.
Ensures that recommendations, based on managerial performance, are available for consideration in wage and salary reviews as well as discussions on promotability. Accountable for supervision, reviews all performance evaluations for managerial personnel, noting especially their content. Participates in Succession planning and organizational planning for the GSC Region.
Accountable for budgets associated with Human Resources & Administration in the factory and ensures that budgetary controls are maintained and that spending authority is granted in accordance with Company.
Reviews, analyses and leads processes to implement shared best practices. Ensures GSC Human Resource initiatives are communication and implemented at the factory.
Participates in recruitment, hiring, and transferring of personnel, making appropriate recommendations to senior management; ensures fully trained employees are in place to fulfill the Operating plan.
