Linked to the last activities, I’ve moved to Stuttgart in the aim to be closer to Valeo’s fan system german customers.
My main activities are now more linked to the customer issues and project management.
I’m part of European fan system expertise center. I’m linked to several projects on-going or future development, this position between customers, providers, developers and our manufactures (France-Poland-Italy-Spain) permits me to acquire real management abilities and understanding of complexes issues.

R&D Center, Valeo

During this period, I was involved as multi-project support for Valeo Engine Cooling. My main role was to follow and check that these projects are developed in the right way to meet Quality Cost and Delay keys objectives. The main projects were concerning German customer with power electronic unit controller which control DC-Motor with PWM** signal.

Below are my main tasks :

=> Quality crisis management
Problem solving and technical negotiation with the customer in the aim to avoid recall action on customer level.
=> Support during the project development
Reviewing of specification, validation plan, PPAP presentations and negotiations with O.E.M…
=> Development with “embedded” providers
Design review, process audit.
=> New project quotation
Technical solution and support within sales team in the aim to reach the lowest costs with the better quality.
=> Benchmarking or reverse engineering of product and internal labs support
Laboratory assistance for EMC tests or specific electrical tests.
=> Fan System development for Audi and Mercedes
Conception, validation of the actual Mercedes Sprinter (NCV3 project) fan system.
Development and validation of the electronic PWM** controller for class A4, A6. (B6, B7, B8, C6 platforms).
** PWM : Pulse With Modulation (shape of the signal used to made varying fan speed)

R&D Center, Valeo.

In this project, I’ve designed the electronics that control a thermal regulation valve. This driver was for DC motor used in hard environments (underhood 120°C, controlled with CAN Bus…).

Production Plant in aeronautic.

I had to create the control of a trolley position included in an assembly line. P.Z.L. design and produce helicopters, gliders and aeronautic parts. It was a multi-cultural environment and a good opportunity to develop my skills in real time processing.

Maintenance in Heavy Industry

During this experience, I was confronted with a strong work environment : electrical maintenance in heavy industry. Work undertaken on the electronic and power electronic equipment needed extensive mechanical and electrical knowledge. It was also my first management experience.
