Joanna Golańska

Direct cooperation with the CFO of Smyk Sp. z o.o. in all key areas of finance:
- monthly financial reporting – preparing financial statements for Management, group’s consolidation and owners purposes
- annual forecasts and budgets (including: P&L, BS & CF)
- supervising of capex – settlements, analyses, budgeting
- preparing data for hedge accounting, letter of credit & bank guaranties purposes
- preparing data for bank covenants purposes (actual & budgeted)
- ad hoc analyses for both Smyk and the EMF Group Management Boards
- working directly with CFO, Chief Accountant, and external auditors

- preparing of consolidated financial statements of the group (for the Stock Exchange purposes)
- verification of standalone financial statements of about 40 portfolio companies
- preparing of new and updated accounting policies
- day to day supervision over accounting issues within the group companies
- conducting financial due diligence of potential targets
- analysis of various agreements under proper accounting treatment
- calculation and supervision of cash pool mechanism of the group
- cooperation with banks

- managing team of 1-5 people (tasks allocation, motivation, monitoring of progress, valuation & feedback, coaching)
- resolving date to date issues in team’s work
- audit and reviews of stand-alone and consolidated, financial statements, according to Polish and IFRS accounting standards,
- identifying and resolving technical issues, risks in regards to clients, consulting with others as appropriate
- dealing with complicated issues regarding clients

- managing team of 1-4 people (tasks allocation, motivation, monitoring of progress, valuation & feedback, coaching)
- resolving date to date issues in team’s work
- recruitments and trainings of new hires,
- dentifying and resolving technical issues, risks in regards to clients, consulting with others as appropriate,
- dealing with complicated issues regarding clients (mergers, change of the accounting system)
- day to day responsibility over client, building and sustaining good relations with clients,
- fee negotiations, billing,
- sustaining contacts with Group, other auditors,
- preparing deliverables for group and statutory purposes,
- prepare budgets for all projects, including current follow-up.

- audits and reviews of stand-alone and consolidated, financial statements,

- conducting audits of middle market and small clients,
- drafting deliverables for group and statutory purposes,
- sustaining contacts with clients,
- elevating issues and proposes potential solutions
- setting a positive example to the team by providing timely, verbal and written feedback,
- managing more junior staff to enable engagement project objectives to be met,
- sharing of knowledge within the team
- audits according to Polish and IFRS accounting standards,
- middle market clients: production, services, retail, developers
- agree upon procedures,
- due diligence,

- conducting audits of middle market and small clients,
- drafting deliverables for group and statutory purposes,
- sustaining contacts with clients,
